First, as I noted in the midweek wrap-up earlier this week and discussed in the postgame rapid reaction, there is still a sense that LT Michael Fasusi is trending toward POTENTIALLY being available this week. I know, I know... I am still a “believe it when I see it” type of person as well. However, the confidence is a bit different this week. Just have to see if that translates to the former five-star getting back out there and helping OU this week.
Similarly, I have been told that OG Heath Ozaeta is trending pretty well for OU as well. Now, both players have to keep that up to be available, but the signs early this week were that things were looking better for both. We will have a better sense of where the medical staff truly sees them when the SEC Availability Report comes out tonight at 7:10 p.m.…
